Our Costa Brava Water Sports Activity Centre Blue Oyster Water Sports is based near to Barcelona in Escala with Club Nautic Escala. The area is perfect for enjoying the water, learning to sail on dinghy and keel boats, enjoying the thrill of wakeboarding, kitesurfing, diving and big boat sailing with our RYA Sailing School, Costa Brava Sailing Academy.
Blue Oyster One Water Sport or a Package RYA and PADI
You can join us at Blue Oyster Sailing Water Sports for as long as you like: enjoy one sport or take a package and learn to sail, dive, and sail in the Bay of Rosas on large 36 and 48 foot sailing yachts. This is fun for all the family; adventure sports from sailing and snorkelling enjoying alfresco meals in beautiful anchorages to kayaking in a small group along the Costa Brava coastline. Join us as a family, a group of friends or come & join one of our groups, meet new friends and learn new skills in and on the warm Mediterranean waters of the Spanish Costa Brava.
Blue Oyster RYA Instructor Training and Super Yacht Crew Training
We have designed our courses to train the RYA Instructors of tomorrow. From Dinghy Instructors, Keelboat, Personal Water Craft, and Power Boat at The Blue Oyster Water Sports Centre, to our larger Yachts in Gibraltar and Barcelona you can train with us to teach to RYA Cruising Instructor level on larger Yachts. Our Instructors can assist Super Yacht owners and Captains to register their Yachts as RYA Training Centre's and organise pre-inspection, RYA Inspection and crew training.
Blue Oyster RYA Power Boat and Personal Water Craft Training
Our Power Boat RYA Level 1 and 2 can be combined with RYA Safety Boat and Personal Water Craft Training into a 1 week course. At the end of the course and upon successful completion you can be awarded the International Certificate Of Competence ICC. If you are using power or sail craft abroad you should hold this licence. We are now able to issue the ICC to nationals from North America. The licence is in 8 languages including Spanish.
